Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how TradVeX, LLC, an Indiana limited liability company (“TradVeX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you access or use our website, dashboard, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Policy.

TradVeX provides software tools that generate impersonal market signals and allow self-directed investors to connect their own third-party brokerage account in order to view those signals and, at the user's direction, execute trades. TradVeX is not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer, and this Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service & Risk Disclosure.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Account information: name, email address, and a password (stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store your plaintext password).
• Configuration data you choose to set: watchlist tickers, minimum confidence threshold, maximum position size, stop-loss and take-profit percentages, and risk profile.
• Communications: any information you provide when you contact us for support.

1.2 Information Collected Through Brokerage Connection

If you choose to connect a third-party brokerage account (currently supported: Alpaca), we receive and store an OAuth access token authorizing trading-only access to that account. We deliberately request trading-only scope and never request, and cannot obtain, the ability to withdraw funds or transfer money out of your brokerage account. This access token is encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM) before storage. We do not collect or store your brokerage login credentials — authorization happens directly on your brokerage's own site.

1.3 Information Generated by Use of the Service

• Trade history and order records generated through your use of the Service.
• Portfolio and position data retrieved from your connected brokerage account, used to display your dashboard.
• System and security logs, including IP address, browser/device type, and timestamps of access, used for security monitoring and troubleshooting.

2. How We Use Information

• To operate, maintain, and provide the features of the Service, including generating signals and, where you have configured automated execution, placing trades through your connected brokerage account at your direction.
• To authenticate your identity and secure your account.
• To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and material changes to our Service or this Policy.
• To monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• To comply with applicable law, regulation, or lawful requests from public authorities.

We do not use your personal information to serve advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. How We Share Information

We share information only with the following categories of service providers, each acting on our behalf and solely for the purposes described below:

• Your connected brokerage — to execute trades and retrieve account/position data at your direction. TradVeX never holds your funds; all custody remains with your brokerage.
• Cloud infrastructure providers (currently Railway and Netlify) — to host our application, database, and website.
• AI model providers used to generate trading signals — these providers receive publicly available market data and ticker symbols necessary to generate a signal; they do not receive your name, account credentials, brokerage access tokens, or financial account information.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Security

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of sensitive credentials at rest, encryption of data in transit, hashed password storage, and access controls limiting who within TradVeX may access production systems. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and usage information for as long as your account remains active and as necessary to provide the Service. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain certain records (such as trade or transaction logs) to comply with legal, accounting, or regulatory obligations, or to resolve disputes.

6. Your Rights and Choices

• Access and correction: you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct inaccurate information, by contacting us at the email below.
• Deletion: you may request deletion of your account and associated personal information, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 5.
• Brokerage disconnection: you may disconnect your brokerage account at any time from your account Settings, or directly from your brokerage's own platform.
• Communications: you may opt out of non-essential email communications at any time.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete it promptly.

8. International Users

The Service is currently intended for use by individuals located in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, where applicable.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. We will post the updated Policy with a revised “Last Updated” date. Material changes will be communicated to active users via email or in-app notice prior to taking effect.
